IPhone 4: the world in your pocket
Summertime means that the geek gods at the Apple have got a new piece of art out for you all. When you first lay your eyes on the iPhone 4, you will be quite surprised by its stunning new looks and Apple has kind of completely redesigned the look for the better compared to the previous iPhone 3GS. The sleek design is very attractive and it comes with a 0.37 inch thickness which makes it a lot thinner than the iPhone 3GS. At the same time the choice of materials that have been used to make it is also interesting. It has a premium glass like coating on the front as well as on the back making it very reflective and also fingerprint-proof.
It also has a stainless steel brush band all along the sides of the handset which acts as the antenna and gives better connectivity and service on the go. The overall nostalgic feel of the device is very welcoming, and also has a really comfortable weight to it, feels fantastic holding it, as is the case every Apple device. The best feature about the iPhone 4 definitely has to be the "retina' display as they like to call it. And in fact it is actually a Led backlit IPS display and it has a resolution of 960x640 with support for over 16 million colors. So what it basically does is it provides a lot of pixels per square inch.
The front facing VGA camera is also an amazing improvement. Below the touch screen, you have the usual home concave home button. The volume control is now two separated buttons compared to the previous iPhone. The 3.5 millimeter headset jack fits perfectly. There is also a tiny dot that act as the noise cancellation for the microphone. And the dedicated power button is also easy to use. On the left side there is the micro SIM card slot and at the bottom there is the speaker and also the USB cum charger port. And on the back side, on the top-left there is the 5 megapixel auto focus camera with flash!
The experience of using the new ioS 4 is fabulous as is the joy of having a 1.0 gigahertz Apple A4 processor and it is also an improvement in regards to movement and intuitiveness. It is quite responsive and smooth. The new operating system upgrade is a fresh change and it is also a smooth platform to get comfortable on. The qwerty keypad is also very responsive and accurate when it comes to typing fast. And owing to the ioS 4 the grammatical errors during typing are pointed out via a red curved line under the error. And the predictive text option also helps in this purpose. The web pages load really fast, otherwise there is not much change done with the phone. The scrolling is smooth and easy.
