- 1). Open the iPhoto program on your computer. Turn your camera off and then connect the camera to your computer using the USB connector.
- 2). Turn the camera on and the name of your camera will appear in the iPhoto Source list of the iPhoto application.
- 3). Click on your camera name from the iPhoto Source list and a new page will appear on the application with a camera icon in the center that tells you items are ready to import from the camera.
- 4). Enter a name for the folder the pictures will be stored in on the iPhoto application into the "Roll Name" field. Enter a description for the pictures you are uploading, such as "Christmas vacation," into the "Description" field.
- 5). Click the box next to the "Delete items from camera after importing" field if you want the pictures deleted from the camera automatically after uploading them.
- 6). Click the "Import" button to start the import process. When the process is complete, click the "Library" option to view your uploaded pictures.
