How to Adjust Yaktrax Custom Footbeds
- 1). Preheat the oven to 225 degrees.
- 2). Insert the Yaktrax Custom Footbeds inside the shoes, boots or ski boots in which you plan to wear them. Make sure each footbed fits correctly. Trim slightly around the edges of each footbed if required.
- 3). Remove the Yaktrax Custom Footbeds from your footwear and place them in the oven. Set the cooking timer for the amount of time specified on the box.
- 4). Make sure your feet are clean and dry. Put on your socks.
- 5). When the timer rings, remove the Yaktrax Custom Footbeds and press the first one to the sole of your foot, aligning it and molding it against your foot. Repeat with the second footbed.
- 6). Place each footbed carefully inside your shoes, boots or ski boots again. Put on your footwear and stand up for two minutes.
- 7). Test your footbeds by taking a few steps forward and backward, feeling for any spots of pressure or rubbing.
- 8). If the footbeds do not feel right, remove them from your footwear, put them back in the oven and follow steps 5 though 7 as needed until you get a comfortable fit and good support.
