- 1). Hold the red power button to turn off the 8100. Turn over the phone to expose the battery cover.
- 2). Press and hold down the cover's release button and pull off the cover.
- 3). Pull out the battery, which reveals the media card slot.
- 4). Push the metal media card's holder in the "Unlock" direction as noted. The card holder unlocks.
- 5). Pull up the holder and insert the microSD card.
- 6). Push the holder back down and slide it into the "Lock" position.
- 7). Reinstall the battery and cover, then turn on the phone.
- 8). Push the rectangular camera button, located on the phone's right side. The camera application loads.
- 9). Push the BlackBerry menu button and select "Video Camera" from the list.

Click the trackball to start recording video. Click the trackball again to stop recording.
