    • 1). Press all cotton quilt fabrics smooth with the iron to remove wrinkles and folds.

    • 2). Stack eight different fabrics on top of each other, lining up the edges.

    • 3). Place the fabric on the cutting mat, lining up the top left corner of the stacked fabrics with the top left measuring markings on the mat.

    • 4). Position the transparent ruler along the mat's cutting marks to determine the first cut of one triangle edge.

    • 5). Press the rotary cutter firmly along the ruler edge to cut the fabric. Reposition the ruler to determine and cut the remaining edges of the triangle.
