- 1). Open Internet Explorer or your web browser.
- 2). Navigate to "dll-download-system.com" and do a search for Winsock.dll.
- 3). Download "Winsock.dll" and save it to your Windows desktop.
- 4). Go to your Windows desktop and right click on the Winsock.dll file.
- 5). Click "Start" and type "C: Windows\System32" in the Search box. This will open the Sytem32 folder.
- 6). Paste the file in System32 folder. Select "Yes" to replace the existing old file.
- 7). Click "Start" and type "CMD" in the search box. This opens the Windows command window.
- 8). Type "Regsvr32 winsock.dll" and press Enter on your keyboard.
- 9). Restart your computer when done.
