How to Copy TV Shows From DVR to VHS
- 1). Put the VHS player next to the DVR. Plug the VHS player into the wall socket for power. Attach the video connection cord to the video input of the VHS player. Attach the other end to the video output of the DVR.
- 2). Attach the left and right RCA plugs of the audio connection cable to the left and right RCA audio inputs of the VHS player. Attach the left and right RCA plugs on the other end of the audio connection cable to the left and right RCA audio outputs of the VCR.
- 3). Open the VHS cassette tray. Insert a VHS tape and close the tray. Press the "Record" button and then press the "Pause" button on the VHS player's remote.
- 4). Turn on the DVR. Navigate to the TV show that you want to record onto the VHS tape. Press the "Play" button on the DVR's remote to start playing the TV show. Press the "Pause" button on the VHS player's remote to start the VHS player recording the TV show onto the VHS tape.
- 5). Press the "Stop" button on the VHS player when the TV show has finished playing. Eject the VHS tape that now has the TV show on it that was copied from the DVR. Turn off the VHS player. Turn off the DVR. Disconnect the video and audio connection cables from the DVR and from the VHS player.
