Start Your Triathlon Training - It"s Easy
This triathlon training guidelines should serve as something like skeletal frame in order for you to flesh out your own set of goals and conditions.
ORGANIZATION
Getting organized is the first thing to proper training in triathlon. This starts in your head. Get a very clear picture, first and foremost, of what you wish to accomplish in the triathlon event and, just as importantly, which triathlon event you will be preparing for (sprint, olympic or ironman).
You would be required to have a training log, a training calendar and that includes nutrition too, the proper tools, and if manageable recruit a friend or join a team to run, bike and swim with. You cannot simply make up your own triathlon training program and still expect to attain your targets.
REMAIN FOCUSED
You are going to arrive at a mental distractions with this kind of training. There would come a time even when you've still got a few more months to go and you already feel like there are no improvements in your performance at all. It would come to your mind that you just aren't good enough to attain your goals and you just cannot compete. DON'T OVERTRAIN
Work closely with your coach if you are just a novice in triathlon training in order for you to have the right training program and a training schedule for yourself. If you train too much, you're not doing yourself any favors. You have to know when to exert your hardest and the right time to take a break. This should be planned out head-on as much as possible - afterwards you can train with your coach to polish it with some improvisation in order for you not to get injured, you won't burn yourself out and wear out when the actual day of the competition arrives.
As you avoid too much training you'll as well be making sure that you do not fail to practice and shape up enough.
THE PROPER NUTRITION
The training regimen involves a whole new way of eating for a lot of beginner triathletes. You will be taking in a lot of different foods than what you are used to, cutting out some familiar ones, and most likely eating six smaller meals a day than the usual three meals. Processed sugars and fried foods will be out, mountain trail mixes and whole grain bread and lots of fish and lean cuts of beef would be in.
RELATIONSHIPS
Triathlon beginners training can affect your entire life. Spend as much time as possible with your family. Try to make them understand what you are doing and the reason why you are doing it. They'll be looking for you most of the times. But the good news is: you will have more energy when you spend time with them.
