- 1). Open your video within your video editor and drag it to the Timeline.
- 2). Click "File" from the top menu, then click "Export." At the next screen, select a video file type that you know is compatible with Facebook, such as .mov, .avi or .mp4. Give the video a name you will remember and click "Export." This process will convert your video into a format you can use outside your video editor.
- 3). Log into Facebook and click the "Video" icon above the "What's on your mind?" box, then click "Upload a Video from your drive." Click "Browse," then select the video file from the files and folders on your computer. Click "Open." This will begin uploading the video to your Facebook profile. Click "Share" when the video is done uploading to place the video on your profile.
- 4). Open your email account and start a new message. Click "Attach Files" or "Insert" (or a similar function) and select the video file from the files and folders on your computer. When the video is done uploading, send the message to the people you choose.
