How to Make a Beaded Leather Wrapped Bracelet
- 1). Measure out 2 yards of leather string and cut it with scissors. Match the two ends together. At the end still connected, make a small knot. This will create a loop. You want the loop to be a little bit smaller than one of your beads. Place a piece of tape over the loop and put it onto a hard surface. Now it will stay in place for you to work.
- 2). Hold a bead in your hand and put one string through on each side. Pull the strings through until the bead goes all the way to the knot. Don't leave any slack between the bead or the knot, or between beads. Continue doing this with the beads until you get enough beads on to make a bracelet. After the last bead is on make a tight knot.
- 3). Put both strings through the middle of a bead going the same direction. Slide the bead down until it hits the new knot. Make two more knots on top of the bead so the bead won't fall off. Cut any additional leather string that is hanging with scissors.
- 4). Wrap the beaded leather bracelet around your wrist as many times as you can without it being too tight. Take the two ends of the bracelet and push the bead through the loop. It should be slightly difficult to get the bead through the loop. This way, when it’s through it won't come off.
