- 1). Quit Virtual Library if it is running.
- 2). Go to the HP Support website and download the firmware patch (see Resources).
- 3). Open the ZIP file that downloads. For this you might need a ZIP utility such as WinZip, 7-Zip or WinRAR.
- 4). Double-click the EXE file that appears.
- 5). Click "Agree" after you read the license information.
- 6). Click "Install."
- 7). Restart the computer to finish patching the program.
