- 1). Press the "Home" button, located below the device's display.
- 2). Tap the "Settings" icon.
- 3). Tap "General."
- 4). Tap "Auto-Lock."
- 5). Tap "Never." The iPod Touch is now set so the screen never goes off automatically. When using this setting, you press the "On/Off-Wake/Sleep" button, located on the top right of the device when you want to lock the display.
- 6). Press the "Home" button to go back to the home screen.
