- 1). Visit MSN to download free skins. (Note: The link is provided in the Resources section.)
- 2). Select your desired theme "Wallpaper" from the side menu.
- 3). Point your mouse over a skin to read the description, and click "View Wallpaper" to see a larger image of the graphic.
- 4). Download the skin by first selecting the option that represents the best size based on your screen's width and height. (Note: If a default size is already shown, test it out first by downloading the skin and viewing it before opting to change the default selection.)
- 5). Click "Download Now," and if you have not already registered, a dialog box will appear. Enter your email address, name and birth date to register. (Note: The cost is still free.)
- 6). Keep the website open. Log in to your email account in a separate browser tab if necessary, and open the confirmation email from MSN. Click on the "Complete Registration" link in the email.
- 7). Enter a password for your MSN American Greetings account. Enter your zip code and country, and click "Submit" and then click "Continue."
- 8). Click "Download Now" to begin downloading your previously selected skin. (Note: Here, you will also be able to choose whether you would like to sign up for newsletters, be automatically signed in when you visit the site, or be notified of new offers.)
- 9). Right-click anywhere on the picture after it downloads, and select "Set as background."
