If you have broken up with someone that you still have feelings for then you will probably be looking for a way to repair your relationship and get back to how things used to be.
The obvious option would be to phone your ex up and start talking to them, however it's almost certain that your ex will be ignoring your calls.
Even if you leave a message your ex might not return the call.
So what can you do? Relax- If you don't get answered the first time then you might try again, this is fine.
However if you continue trying then your ex could quite easily feel harassed.
You need to know when to stop, it's best just to give her some space, the more times you call, the less likely anyone will answer the calls.
If they don't answer then leave them alone.
Also never try withholding your number as this might get your call answered, but they will hang up and get very annoyed with you.
Silence- If you refrain from calling and break off all contact then this will give your ex time to think about the things that she misses about you.
They might also wonder about you and may want to check that everything is OK.
This is a great trick because it makes them curious which will make it much easier to get them to phone you.
Break the silence- After a few weeks you can then break the silence and call your ex, as you have only called once out of the blue you should get answered, or your call returned if they were busy.
Your ex has been thinking about you, but if you kept on calling then they would not have time to think about you.
Make sure this call is friendly and short.
Patience Pays off- Once you've made first contact again you should let her have another break before you make another call.
This means that you're just calling to catch up about things that are going on now which should be much easier to talk about.
By being casual and laid back you will find that it's much easier to get your calls answered, and it will make your ex miss talking to you.
It might even make her want to resume the relationship.
