How to Upgrade the Terminal Server CAL

    • 1). Click "Start," "Administrative Tools," "Terminal Server Licensing."

    • 2). Right-click the name of your server and choose "Properties." Place a check mark next to "Automatic connection (recommended)" and click "OK."

    • 3). Right-click the server from the left side of the screen and choose "Install Licenses." This starts the Terminal Server CAL Installation Wizard.

    • 4). Provide your License number and any other information on your certificate in the "Program and Client License Information" section and click "Finish." You have now added an additional license to your server.
