How to Use Feng Shui for a Successful Career
Feng Shui is an ancient science which helps you in balancing your aura with the energy forces around you. When you apply Feng Shui in your environment; be it your house or office, or even your workstation; you are inviting positive energy, or chi from the environment. These positive energies or chi helps in bringing in positive changes in your life.
The first step towards having a successful career using Feng Shui, is to clean up your desk and make it clutter free to allow the positive chi to circulate. Also, if possible make your office clutter free and remove any obstacle from any of the doorways so that you let opportunities to come your way.
You can keep a freshly filled bowl of water each morning in the east area of your office and if possible, keep the bowl in a place that is warmed by the morning sun. Water is very important element for career success. If you cannot keep a bowl of water, then put some water imagery in the area, like a picture of a lake, or a waterfall.
You can also keep some potted plants in the east area of your office to invigorate chi.
If your desk is in such a position that your back is towards the door, then either rearrange your desk or place a mirror on your desk in such a way that the door is reflected.
If you face a wall when sitting at your desk, then put some vibrant imagery that will bring smile to your face and calm you down. It is also a good idea to put up an image that corresponds to your career aspirations as this will enhance your career growth. For example, if you want to be a CEO of a company, you can put up an image of a CEO you admire and emulate.Â
If you have a home office then apart from the general principles discussed above, you need keep some more points in mind.
Be mindful of the quality of air and light coming in your office and make sure that both are in abundance and fresh.
It is best to separate your office and personal space. If possible then have a separate entrance to your home office. If you have space constraints and cannot dedicate a separate room, then set up a small area and visually separate it from your personal space. But remember to never set up your workstation in your bedroom.
Put up fire images in your south area, which is for fame and reputation. Keep some water element in your north area, which is for career or path in life. In the southeast area, keep images that represent to you abundance and prosperity.
So, advance in your career by making small changes in your office using Feng Shui principles.
