- 1). Turn off the power to the Sony player and the TV.
- 2). Insert the three plugs on one end of the AV cable into the matching output jacks on the upper right side of the Sony DVD player's rear panel.
- 3). Connect each plug on the other end of the cable to the AV inputs on the back of the TV, which may be labeled "Composite In," for example.
- 4). Turn on the Sony player and television.
- 5). Press the source button on the TV remote until the blue Sony screen appears on the television.
