    • 1). Click "Start" and type "CMD" in the search box. Press the "Ctrl," "Shift" and "Enter" keys simultaneously. This action opens a Windows Command Prompt with administrative privileges.

    • 2). Click "Yes" on the permission dialog screen and the Windows Command Prompt opens. You should also see "Administrator" at the top of the window.

    • 3). Type "netsh winsock reset" next to "C:\Windows\System32" and press the "Enter" key.

    • 4). Restart your computer after you see the message "Successfully reset the Winsock Catalog."
