Recovery Disc Removal
- Recovery discs contain system images of your entire Windows operating system and in some cases all the software and personal files on your hard drive.
- Once you have finished recovering your system, you can remove it from your system. Make sure no programs or utilities, such as System Restore, that use recovery discs are running
- Click "Start" then "Computer" in the menu that appears. Right-click on "Recovery Disc" then choose "Eject" to remove the recovery disc from your computer. Alternately you can press the "Eject" button on your laptop or computer; it is usually located next to your disc drive.
