    Function

    • Recovery discs contain system images of your entire Windows operating system and in some cases all the software and personal files on your hard drive.

    Removal

    • Once you have finished recovering your system, you can remove it from your system. Make sure no programs or utilities, such as System Restore, that use recovery discs are running

    Process

    • Click "Start" then "Computer" in the menu that appears. Right-click on "Recovery Disc" then choose "Eject" to remove the recovery disc from your computer. Alternately you can press the "Eject" button on your laptop or computer; it is usually located next to your disc drive.
