- 1). Download, unzip and install the "IfoEdit" program from the link located in the Resources section. IfoEdit is completely free, while many other programs only offer trials or cost money from the start. Open "IfoEdit" and click the "Create IFOs" button at the bottom of the screen.
- 2). Click the period next to the field that says "1st VOB of Title-Set" to browse to the folder where your ".VOB" files are located. Check the box that says "Same as source" for the destination directory.
- 3). Click "OK" and IfoEdit will create the .IFO files from the .VOB file information. Two .IFO files will show in the IfoEdit program.
- 4). Click the "VTS_01_0.IFO" file to view information about the item in the lower portion of IfoEdit. Double-click the field "Audio 1: Not Specified." Choose "English" for the language and click "OK."
- 5). Double-click "SubPicture 1" and change the language to "English" there as well.
- 6). Repeat steps 4 and 5 for the "VIDEO_TS.IFO" file.
- 7). Click "Save" at the bottom of the IfoEdit program and click "Yes" if prompted to overwrite any files. The .BUP files that get created are backup copies of the .IFO files in case the IFO files get damaged.
