Where to Find Vampires in "RuneScape"?
- Several kinds of vampyres roam the eastern portion of Gielinor, which include vampire juveniles, vampyre juvinates and vyrewatch, which are immune to all combat attacks except silver weapons. Although these monsters are considered vampyres, they do not count toward your Slayer vampyre kill count, only regular vampyres count. When you fight a regular vampyre, the monster will occasionally bite your neck and drain your skills. Wearing a holy symbol while fighting vampyres weakens its accuracy and amount of damage you receive.
- The Haunted Woods is located east of Canifis and requires you to complete the Priest in Peril quest before you can access the area. The woods spread from the southern part of Port Phasmatys to the Mort Myre Swamp. The Haunted Woods contains several monsters, including leeches, hollow trees and vampyres, which are combat level 61 and 72. The level 61 vampyres roam the woods searching for players to attack, while the level 72 vampyres hide in trees and drop down and attack unsuspecting players.
- The Abandoned Mine is located west of Burgh de Rott and southwest of Mort'ton, along the southeast coast of the River Salve. The mine was once the site of an extensive mining operation, but its six levels have been partially flooded by the River Salve. Several level 61 vampyres reside on the east side of the mine entrance, just west of the Burgh de Rott agility shortcut. If you have access to the Burgh de Rott bank (use 20 nails, five planks and one swamp paste to repair), killing vampyres outside of the abandoned mine is convenient for low-level players who must restock on food and other supplies often.
- The God Wars Dungeon is an enormous cavern located north of Trollheim. This dangerous, multi-combat dungeon inhibits the gods of Saradomin, Bandos, Armadyl and Zamorak, and their armies, which will generally attack you automatically; however, wearing armor of the particular god in the god's chamber, prevents the army from attacking you automatically. For example, wearing a pair of Bandos' boots prevents the Bandos army from attacking you. Several level 77 vampyres roam throughout the Zamorak chamber, located on the northeast side of the cavern. To enter the cavern, you must travel to Trollheim and walk northwest to the cavern entrance. Climb down a rope and run northeast to the bridge. Dive into the water and arrive in the Zamorak chamber, where you will find several vampyres roaming the area.
