Home Based Business - 9 Mindsets to Entrepreneurial Success
To become or have something different you must change what you think, how you act and what you believe.
Making this shift will help you break through negative belief systems and self imposed limitations to achieve your goals.
Below are what I call the 9 mindsets to entrepreneurial success: Credit is a Tool Credit and credit cards have a place in our lives.
What I discovered is that entrepreneurs use credit for outcomes that put money in their pocket.
Example: paying a copywriter and web designer to create a sales page for a new product.
The entrepreneur pays once and now has a site that sells that product again, again and again.
The employee typically uses credit to buy clothes, appliances, etc.
Buying items on time resulting in a monthly payment.
The payment takes years to pay off and takes money out of your pocket.
Creates or Buys Assets that Generate Surplus Cash Flow Entrepreneurs have positive cash flowing assets.
They make money whether or not they work.
Their money works for them.
Employees are in the mindset of exchanging hours for dollars.
You go to a job work x amount of hours and receive x amount of pay.
The only way to get the pay is to work.
Responsible for Themselves With positive cash flowing assets, entrepreneurs create their own income, can purchase health insurance and can fund their own retirement.
Employees look to their employer to provide this.
They depend on their employer for security.
Creates Jobs for Others When entrepreneurs create/buy positive cash flowing assets this generates job opportunities for others.
Employees are dependent on employers to give them jobs.
Systematize, Delegate, Eliminate Entrepreneurs are productive not busy.
They delegate tasks to others, achieving more through the help of others.
Entrepreneurs eliminate non value added work where applicable.
They create systems that allow the work to get done even when entrepreneurs are not present.
Employees accept that they only way to make money is working 8-5.
Money is NOT the Root of All Evil Entrepreneurs know money is a tool.
It is a means to help others.
The more money entrepreneurs make the more they can help.
They enjoy helping by creating scholarship funds, donating to worthy causes, etc.
Employees typically see more money as a means to solve their problems.
Pay off debt, buy the new car they wanted, buy clothes, etc.
The Highest Form of Job Security: Working for Yourself Entrepreneurs continuously seek opportunities that bring in cash flow.
They depend on themselves for a financially secure future.
Employees seeks a safe, secure job with a big company.
Then are angry when downsizing begins.
Education is a Life Long Process Entrepreneurs continue to refine their skills: personal, professional, spiritual.
Continuous learning allows them to achieve their goals.
Employees typically end their education at the bachelors degree level.
Many times furthering their education happens only when they want a promotion.
What Others Think is Not Important Entrepreneurs find or create as many money making opportunities as possible.
Sometimes they go to college; others are high school drop outs.
They use their creativity, remove fears and move forward to learn what they need to get what they want.
Employees do what society expects.
Go to school, get good grades, get a job, climb the corporate ladder, then retire.
The highest form of job insecurity is working for others.
Even if you feel stuck in your situation, there is way out.
There is hope for you to achieve all that is important to you..
..
without leaving yourself vulnerable.
