How to Draw Spiderman in Slow Motion

Draw the head of Spiderman as an oval. Add a cross inside the head as the facial guidelines. Sketch the torso with a rectangle that is tilted to the left. Add the hips with an upside-down triangle that is tilted diagonally to the right. Pencil in Spiderman's right arm with a line going diagonally toward the bottom left-hand corner of the page. Draw the guideline for his left arm with a diagonal line that points toward the upper left-hand corner. - 2). Draw the right leg guideline with a line coming from the hip and pointing toward the bottom right-hand corner. Sketch the left leg with a horizontal line coming off the hip and moving toward the right side of the page.

Add circles on the right and left sides of the torso rectangle for shoulders, and circles for the elbows, knees and hands. Draw the muscles on the frame with football-shaped ovals. Place one on each shoulder and one just below the arm for the biceps. Add a long oval for the forearm. - 4). Draw a long, wide oval over each leg guideline. Add the fingers on the right hand with two thin rectangles in the center of the hand circle. Pencil in a thin rectangle on each side of the middle two. Add a thumb with a shorter, wider rectangle to the left of the fingers.
- 5). Pencil in the fingers on the left hand by adding a rectangle to the end of the hand. Split the rectangle into four fingers by drawing four lines on the rectangle. Add a thumb to the right of the fingers. Draw the feet as rectangles that are coming slightly off the side of the knee. This will give the impression that the feet are further away from the viewer than the legs.
- 6). Add the eyes with sideways triangles on the horizontal line of the facial guideline. Erase the guidelines. Sketch in the web costume with crosshatch lines. Do this by drawing horizontal lines over the face, shoulders, chest, arms, hands and feet. Add vertical lines across these shapes to create the crisscross pattern of the web.

Ink the entire drawing. Let dry and carefully erase the pencil lines. - 8
Color the head, chest, shoulders, arms, hands and feet red. Color the legs blue. Use the purple marker to add shadow around the shoulder, chest, knees and the underside of the arms.
