- 1). Call the City of Los Angeles' Bureau of Sanitation at 800-988-6942.
- 2). Listen to the automated message, then select the option to speak with a representative regarding hazardous material.
- 3). Inform that representative that you would like to recycle your water cooler, and request a recycling pick-up from the Los Angeles' Bureau of Sanitation.
- 4). Provide the representative with your home address. The representative will process your information and provide you with a date of pick up.
- 5). Place the water cooler by the road, or in the normal location of trash pick-up on the morning of the pick-up date.
