    • 1). Allow water to flow down the sink. Use the plunger, while the water is still running. Create suction around the drain with the plunger. Push down so that the plunger is completely flat in the sink. Pull upward using a bouncing motion. Allow the plunger to keep the suction around the drain. Bounce the plunger four or five times, then remove from the drain. Gunk and debris should come to the surface. Repeat as necessary.

    • 2). Turn off the flow of water. Mix half a box of baking soda with four tbsp. of salt in a bowl. Pour the solution down the drain.

    • 3). Follow the soda and salt mixture with half a bottle of white vinegar. A chemical reaction will occur allowing the mixture to remove debris and grease from the drain. Allow the mixture to perform for roughly 20 minutes.

    • 4). Boil water and pour down the drain, after the time above has elapsed. This will clear away any additional clogs as well as the baking soda and vinegar.
