- 1). Blot the fresh urine stain with paper towels. Avoid pressing too hard on the urine or it will soak deeper into the fabric. Blot the urine until the paper towels no longer absorb it.
- 2). Fill a clean spray bottle with white distilled vinegar. Spray the vinegar on the urine stain. Vinegar acts as a natural deodorizer, and it will neutralize the odor.
- 3). Let the vinegar sit for 30 minutes. Blot the couch with paper towels to absorb any excess vinegar.
- 4). Cover the urine area with baking soda. Allow the baking soda to sit on the microfiber couch overnight. It will absorb any lingering vinegar and it will help remove the urine odor.
- 5). Remove the baking soda by vacuuming it with a hand-held vacuum cleaner.
- 6). Wipe the area on the couch with a damp washcloth. Repeat the process if the odor lingers on the couch.
