- 1). Apply a non-abrasive household cleaner to the surface of your spa bathtub.
- 2). Wipe down the surface of the tub with a soft cloth. Rinse with warm water.
- 3). Close the drain and run hot water in your spa bathtub. Fill it almost to the brim.
- 4). Pour in ½ cup of bleach and ¼ cup of powdered dishwasher detergent.
- 5). Run the water jets in your spa bathtub without the air induction for about 15 minutes.
- 6). Drain out the water. Refill the spa bathtub with cold water.
- 7). Run the jets again without air induction for 15 minutes and drain.
